woke up and popped a knot in my muscle and i learned this:

an open heart is a strong heart

I ate a delicious caprese sandwich from Bay Cities Deli....my favorite sandwich place in l.a. I love the guys who work behind the counter, because they're tough.  Like I know they could be beat me up if they wanted to.  But I also know they have a really sweet, soft side in them, because their hands can make the most delicious sandwiches ever! 

and now i've been going thru all my cover song suggestions.  There are way more than I thought!  So, it's taking me a while. 

Afterwards, drinks with a neighbor...then a movie in Norwalk.  Never been there before. 

crazy photos of the fires in L.A.  They say that someone started them.  Come on, whoever you are.  It makes me so mad, and sad, and not glad.  My thoughts go out to all the men and women attempting day in and day out to put the fires out.   Today it finally feels like it cooled off a little.  So either they're starting to get the flames in control, or the wind just changed.
